Wheat monitoring is important – what to look for?

High fertilizer prices have forced producers to reduce basic fertilization of wheat. But malnutrition is not the only reason why wheat is late in growth and development and shows visual changes on the leaves. This year’s fields, in contrast to last year’s, look worse, there are a number of factors that affect the slow growth of the aboveground mass and the weak development of the root system.
