  • Fulvic Acids

Fulvic acids are organic compounds formed during humification, the decomposition and transformation of plant residues in the soil. They belong to the group of humic substances and, compared with humic acids, have a lower molecular weight and stronger acidic properties. One of their key characteristics is their ability to dissolve iron and manganese oxides and to chelate metal ions. These properties play an important role in soil nutrient availability by enhancing the mobility and plant uptake of essential mineral nutrients.
